The Chamber has a wonderful time celebrating the Grand Opening of The Blue Ivy on N High St in Antlers. We have been waiting with bated breath for our neighbor to open her doors and we were not disappointed! Make sure to stop by and see all the wonderful outfits, home goods, and more! Here is a bio of the owners: Cari Shelton & Kim McCaslin:
My name is Cari Shelton, I am married to Chris Shelton and we have a beautiful blended family. Our sons are Payton & Haylen Wade who are my everything
I enjoy renovating, decorating, ripping apart furniture and giving it new life. My grandpa AC Pettigrew was a life long painter and I think his painting skills were rooted in me from day one.
We moved to the Antlers/ Rattan area almost 3 years ago to be closer to my mom Kim McCaslin and my step-dad Darrin Mccaslin. If you know my mom you know she has the biggest heart and would help anyone at anytime. Always putting others before her unless it’s in a game of a pool
We are a mother – daughter duo and usually when you see one of us the other isn’t far behind. We’ve had many people ask us why we decided to open The Blue Ivy in Antlers and not Atoka where Reba’s Place is and the only answer I can give is the honest one. We love Antlers! It’s now our home town. We want to see this community grow and thrive. It’s where I chose to raise my children, where I’ve made many friends, where my children have their church family and where people I didn’t even know have supported and cheered us on
Behind every small business is a family. This is ours. We are so proud to be accepted as part of this community and hope to make you all proud!
